Spain’s consumer industry registered a 1.8% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.46% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.13% share in September 2022, recording a decrease of 0.05% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s consumer industry in September 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 45% in September 2022, registering a 28.57% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 35% share, an increase of 133.33% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10%, registering a 33.33% decline from August 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 120% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s consumer industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
The Swatch Group posted 11 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 83.33% over the previous month, followed by Panasonic with 9 jobs and a 50% growth. Fujitsu General with 6 IT jobs and PepsiCo with 4 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Games Workshop Group recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.5%, up by 106.67% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15% share, registered a decline of 45.45% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5% share, down 71.43% over August 2022.
