US-based company PepsiCo’s IT hiring rose 6.1% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 11.95% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.1% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 1.84% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PepsiCo IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by PepsiCo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.18% in November 2022, and a 13.64% rise over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 30.34% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 15.63%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.99% in November 2022, an 81.82% drop from October 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at PepsiCo
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 59.55% share, which marked a 76.67% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 35.96%, registering a 65.22% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 2.25% share and a 50% drop over October 2022.
In the fourth place was Europe with a share of 2.25% and a month-on-month decline of 71.43%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 57.3% share in November 2022, an 82.14% growth over October 2022. US featured next with a 23.6% share, down 70% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 12.36% share, a decline of 42.11% compared with October 2022.
Mid Level jobs lead PepsiCo IT hiring activity in November 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 60.67%, up by 14.89% from October 2022. Junior Level positions with a 29.21% share, a decline of 68.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.99% share, up 33.33% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.12%, recording a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.
