US-based company PepsiCo’s IT hiring rose 30.3% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 99% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.33% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 2.57% decline over the last three-month average share.
Computer and Information Analysts tops PepsiCo IT hiring in October 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by PepsiCo, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 31.88% in October 2022, and a 214.29% rise over September 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 31.88% in October 2022, and registered growth of 100%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 23.19% in October 2022, a 433.33% rise from September 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at PepsiCo
North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 64.49% share, which marked a 323.81% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 21.74%, registering an 114.29% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.25% share and a 42.86% rise over September 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.62% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 2.9%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 48.55% share in October 2022, a 272.22% growth over September 2022. India featured next with a 20.29% share, up 100% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 13.77% share, an increase of 533.33% compared with September 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead PepsiCo IT hiring activity in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.38%, up by 276.47% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 34.78% share, a growth of 500% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.22% share, up 40% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.62%, recording a month-on-month increase of 150%.
