Japan-based company Panasonic’s IT hiring declined 11.2% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7.15% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 29.96% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 1.25% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Panasonic IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Panasonic, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 57.41% in July 2022, and an 11.43% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 25.93% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 22.22%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 12.96% in July 2022, a 61.11% drop from June 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Panasonic
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 53.7% share, which marked a 27.5% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 38.89%, registering a 25% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.41% share and a 20% drop over June 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 53.7% share in July 2022, a 27.5% decline over June 2022. US featured next with a 29.63% share, up 14.29% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 7.41% share, a decline of 71.43% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Panasonic IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.41%, down by 27.91% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 42.59% share, a decline of 14.81% compared with the previous month.
