Netherlands consumer industry registered a 4.7% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 11.05% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.97% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.18% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Netherlands consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands consumer industry in October 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 33.33% in October 2022, registering a 31.25% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 30.3% share, an increase of 66.67% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 24.24%, registering a flat growth from September 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 12.12%, down 20% over the previous month.

Top five consumer companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in October 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 340% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands consumer industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

JDE Peet’s posted 7 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 250% over the previous month, followed by Royal FrieslandCampina with 6 jobs and a 100% growth. Heineken with 5 IT jobs and LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Nestle recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during October 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.76%, down by 13.79% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.12% share, registered a decline of 42.86% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Senior job ads with 6.06% share, flat growth over September 2022, while Entry Level postings accounted for 6.06%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
