Switzerland-based company Nestle’s IT hiring rose 26.8% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 33.29% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.51% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.26% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 37.78% in November 2022, and a 750% rise over October 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 22.22% in November 2022, and registered growth of 566.67%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 18.89% in November 2022, an 112.5% rise from October 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Nestle

North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 58.89% share, which marked a 381.82% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 15.56%, registering a 1300% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.56% share and a 100% rise over October 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 7.78% and a month-on-month increase of 250%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 2.22%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 52.22% share in November 2022, a 370% growth over October 2022. India featured next with an 8.89% share, up 700% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 5.56% share, an increase of 400% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.78%, up by 300% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.22% share, a growth of 400% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 20% share, up 350% over October 2022.
