Switzerland-based company Nestle’s IT hiring rose 12.0% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 15.06% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 3.89% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.06% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 33.68% in August 2022, and a 33.33% drop over July 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 23.16% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 18.52%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 22.11% in August 2022, a 36.36% drop from July 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Nestle
North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 47.37% share, which marked a 42.31% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 36.84%, registering a 7.89% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10.53% share and a 33.33% drop over July 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.16% and a month-on-month decline of 62.5%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 2.11%, registering a 33.33% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 28.42% share in August 2022, a 44.9% decline over July 2022. Mexico featured next with a 16.84% share, down 38.46% over the previous month. Germany recorded an 8.42% share, an increase of 100% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.11%, down by 37.89% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.95% share, a decline of 47.06% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 18.95% share, up 50% over July 2022.
