The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.38% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Out of the drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.28% share in August 2022, recording an increase of 0.07% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s drinks industry during August 2022 over July 2022.

Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV posted 22 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 4.76% over the previous month, followed by Anheuser-Busch InBev with 11 jobs and a 15.38% drop. PepsiCo with 7 IT jobs and The Coca-Cola with 1 jobs, recorded a 16.67% growth and a 50% decrease.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.05%, down by 15.79% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.63% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.32% share, up 200% over July 2022.
