Japan-based company Fujitsu General’s IT hiring declined 14.0% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 13.61% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 37.59% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.31% growth over the last three-month average share.

Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Fujitsu General IT hiring in August 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Fujitsu General, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 41.3% in August 2022, and a 9.52% drop over July 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 39.13% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 45.45%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 10.87% in August 2022, a flat growth from July 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Fujitsu General

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in August 2022 with an 89.13% share, which marked a 47.44% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 10.87%, registering a 400% month-on-month growth.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 60.87% share in August 2022, a 41.67% decline over July 2022. Germany featured next with a 13.04% share, down 66.67% over the previous month. India recorded a 10.87% share, an increase of 400% compared with July 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Fujitsu General IT hiring activity in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.22%, down by 37.5% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.43% share, a decline of 26.32% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.35% share, down 83.33% over July 2022.
