The industry’s overall hiring increased by 13.27% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.48% share in September 2022, recording a flat growth over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 52.63% in September 2022, registering an 117.39% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 30.53% share, an increase of 81.25% over the previous month.
3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 11.58%, registering an 8.33% decline from August 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.16%, up 200% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 159.09% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Unibel posted 24 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 84.62% over the previous month, followed by Christian Dior with 12 jobs and an 1100% growth. Pernod Ricard with 7 IT jobs and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners with 7 jobs, recorded a 133.33% growth and a 600% growth, respectively, while Nestle recorded an increase of 75% with 7 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.53%, up by 55.81% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 25.26% share, registered an increase of 140% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.21% share, up 300% over August 2022.
