The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 10.38% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.54% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry in November 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 35% in November 2022, registering a 43.24% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 33.33% share, a decrease of 62.96% over the previous month.
3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 25%, registering a 25% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 6.67%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 2.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Unibel posted 24 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 20% over the previous month, followed by Christian Dior with 7 jobs and a 40% growth. Procter & Gamble with 3 IT jobs and HelloFresh with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while L’Occitane International recorded a decline of 25% with 3 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, down by 40% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15% share, registered a decline of 65.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10% share, down 50% over October 2022.
