May 2022 has seen an increase of 5.93% in the overall hiring activity when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 2.27% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in May 2022, registering an increase of 0.42% over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in May 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 50% in May 2022, a 91.67% rise over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 28.26% in May 2022, marking a 48% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 17.39% in May 2022, a 14.29% rise from April 2022.
Computer and Information Analysts registered a share of 4.35% in May 2022, a flat growth over the previous month.
Top five drinks companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 15.79% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s drinks industry during May 2022 over previous month.
Carlsberg posted 12 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered an increase of 50% over the previous month, followed by PepsiCo with 7 jobs and a 40% growth. The Coca-Cola with 5 IT jobs and Red Bull with 4 jobs, recorded a 66.67% drop and a 50% drop, respectively, while Anheuser-Busch InBev recorded a 100% increase with 4 job postings during May 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s drinks industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 30.43% share in May 2022, an 180% increase over April 2022. Poland featured next with a 17.39% share, up 166.67% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 13.04% share, a drop of 33.33% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.09%, up by 2.94% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.04% share, registered a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.87% share, down 16.67% over April 2022.
