September 2022 has seen an increase of 10.46% in the overall hiring activity when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 3.73% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in September 2022, registering a decrease of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in September 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 35.04% in September 2022, a 7.89% rise over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 30.77% in September 2022, marking a 12.5% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 18.8% in September 2022, a 22.22% rise from August 2022.
Computer and Information Analysts registered a share of 12.82% in September 2022, an 87.5% rise over the previous month.
Top five drinks companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 64.15% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s drinks industry during September 2022 over previous month.
Nestle posted 46 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered an increase of 27.78% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 20 jobs and a 122.22% growth. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners with 7 IT jobs and Coca-Cola HBC with 7 jobs, recorded a 133.33% rise and a 75% rise, respectively, while PepsiCo recorded a 600% increase with 7 job postings during September 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s drinks industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 19.66% share in September 2022, a 76.92% increase over August 2022. The UK featured next with a 17.95% share, up 50% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 14.53% share, a growth of 30.77% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.96%, up by 26.67% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.22% share, registered a growth of 13.04% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.97% share, flat growth over August 2022.
