August 2022 has seen a decrease of 1.25% in the overall hiring activity when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs accounted for a 4.17% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in August 2022, registering a decrease of 0% over the last three-month average share.

Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in August 2022

Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 42.37% in August 2022, an 8.7% rise over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 28.81% in August 2022, marking a 45.16% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 16.95% in August 2022, an 11.11% rise from July 2022.

Top five drinks companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 6.52% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s drinks industry during August 2022 over previous month.

Anheuser-Busch InBev posted 10 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered an increase of 66.67% over the previous month, followed by Mondelez International with 10 jobs and a 100% growth. The Coca-Cola with 9 IT jobs and Red Bull with 7 jobs, recorded a 40% drop and a 30% drop, respectively, while Carlsberg recorded a 30% decline with 7 job postings during August 2022.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s drinks industry

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 22.03% share in August 2022, a 27.78% decrease over July 2022. Poland featured next with an 11.86% share, up 16.67% over the previous month. Bulgaria recorded a 10.17% share, a drop of 53.85% compared with July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.8%, down by 25.93% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.34% share, registered a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.86% share, up 16.67% over July 2022.
