July 2022 has seen a decrease of 5.85% in the overall hiring activity when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs accounted for a 4.27% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in July 2022, registering an increase of 0.4% over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in July 2022

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 44.29% in July 2022, a 34.78% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 32.86% in July 2022, marking a 9.52% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 12.86% in July 2022, a 12.5% rise from June 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 34.29% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s drinks industry during July 2022 over previous month.

The Coca-Cola posted 15 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered an increase of 400% over the previous month, followed by Red Bull with 10 jobs and a 42.86% growth. Carlsberg with 10 IT jobs and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners with 6 jobs, recorded a 23.08% drop and a 20% rise, respectively, while Coca-Cola HBC recorded a 14.29% decline with 6 job postings during July 2022.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s drinks industry

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 25.71% share in July 2022, a 5.88% increase over June 2022. Bulgaria featured next with an 18.57% share, up 1200% over the previous month. Romania recorded an 8.57% share, a growth of 20% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.14%, up by 8% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.29% share, registered a growth of 25% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.57% share, down 14.29% over June 2022.
