Top five consumer companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 28% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s consumer industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

Haier Group posted 30 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 55.88% over the previous month, followed by Anker Innovations with 11 jobs and a flat growth. McCain Foods with 6 IT jobs and Midea Group with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 42.86% decrease, respectively, while Haleon recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during October 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.25%, down by 36.59% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 9.38% share, registered a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.81% share, flat growth over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.56%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
