Computer and Information Analysts Occupations leads by classification in July 2022
Computer and Information Analysts Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 51.06% in July 2022, a 14.29% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 21.28% in July 2022, marking a 66.67% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 21.28% in July 2022, a 16.67% drop from June 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 23.21% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s drinks industry during July 2022 over previous month.
PepsiCo posted 21 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a decline of 32.26% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 8 jobs and a 14.29% growth. Mondelez International with 8 IT jobs and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners with 4 jobs, recorded a 700% rise and a 42.86% drop, respectively, while San Miguel recorded an 80% decline with 2 job postings during July 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s drinks industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 74.47% share in July 2022, a 12.5% decrease over June 2022. Philippines featured next with an 8.51% share, down 63.64% over the previous month. Australia recorded an 8.51% share, a drop of 20% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.45%, down by 37.21% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 38.3% share, registered a growth of 63.64% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.26% share, down 33.33% over June 2022.
