Miscellaneous Computer Occupations Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 36% in September 2022, an 80% rise over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 29.33% in September 2022, marking a 46.67% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers with a share of 18.67% in September 2022, a 75% rise from August 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 68.42% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s drinks industry during September 2022 over previous month.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners posted 18 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered an increase of 1700% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 17 jobs and a 41.67% growth. PepsiCo with 14 IT jobs and Nestle with 11 jobs, recorded a 75% rise and an 8.33% drop, respectively, while San Miguel recorded a 20% decline with 4 job postings during September 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s drinks industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 50.67% share in September 2022, a 52% increase over August 2022. Australia featured next with a 24% share, up 260% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 10.67% share, a drop of 27.27% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 88%, up by 57.14% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with an 8% share, registered a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 2.67% share, down 66.67% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.33%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
