- Campari Group’s quarter started with a new gin brand: O’ndina launched first to the UK market with a wider roll out expected to follow
- Next, the group lined up a new Wild Turkey expression for the US market. Wild Turkey Longbranch was rolled out in partnership with brand ambassador and film star Matthew McConaughey
- A third product launch in April saw Campari Cask Tales – Campari finished in Bourbon barrels – roll out to Global Travel Retail
- Later in the month, Campari Group’s US unit lined up a new campaign for its namesake aperitif brand
- In Q1 results, released in May, the group reported a modest lift in sales despite “emerging market softness”
- June saw the launch of several innovations around Averna as the company celebrated the 150th anniversary of the brand
- The quarter ended with the release of Wild Turkey Russell’s Reserve 2002 – a barrel-proof iteration of high-end Russell’s Reserve Bourbon.
