The proportion of drinks manufacturing and supply companies hiring for robotics-related positions in August held steady on the same month a year earlier, according to recent data.
Analysis by GlobalData reveals that 23.3% of the beverage companies included in its research recruited for at least one robotics-related vacancy in August, compared to 24% a year ago. For the month of July 2021, the proportion totalled 26.7%.
Of the total number of vacancies posted by beverage companies in August, 0.3% were linked to robotics. This represented a very slight dip on the 0.4% proportion in the same month in 2020.
The data analysis shows that drinks manufacturing and supply companies are currently hiring for robotics jobs at a lower rate compared to the average for all companies within GlobalData's job analytics database. The average among all companies in August stood at 0.4%.
