Sales and Related Occupations drive consumer industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Sales and Related Occupations, which accounted for 42% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were up by 846% year-on-year. Second highest were Arts, Design, Entertainment, Sports, and Media Occupations, which accounted for 7% and rise by 396% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 46% of the new job postings and 32% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in consumer industry accounted for 77% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by ASICS with 1,207, followed by Kirin with 55, while the highest increase was at Shiseido at 55%.
