Anheuser-Busch InBev will release its Q1 results tomorrow. Here, just-drinks takes a look at the company's highs and lows in the three months to the end of March.
- In January, the brewer's US arm reached a settlement over a lawsuit in the country that accused the brewer of deception over the origin of Kirin beer.
- In the same month, A-B InBev was forced to defend itself after a UK Government minister criticised the brewer over its payment terms with small suppliers.
- The end of January saw the company strike a deal to acquire another US craft brewer, Seattle's Elysian Brewing Co, for an undisclosed sum.
- A few days later, Elysian responded to concerns over selling up, admitting the move had provoked "anger, support, questions and disappointment".
- In February, A-B InBev quit an eight-year joint venture in India with RJ Corp to go it alone in the country.
- In March, the company lined up a new chairman ahead of its AGM this month. Olivier Goudet was approved last week.
