Illva Saronno is lining up a TV spot for its Disaronno almond liqueur to run in five markets in the run-up to Christmas.
The commercial, which hit the UK earlier this month, will also appear in Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and the US. Focusing on Disaronno’s Italian heritage, the ad is set in Rome and will run in the UK on Channel 4, Sky and MTV, among others.
Financial details behind the activation were not disclosed.
“The campaign shows our commitment to the UK and the next step in our journey as we launch the UK subsidiary and the exciting pipeline of innovations in the next year,” said Disaronno International UK’s category & marketing director, Miranda Osborne.
In a busy year for Saronno in the UK, the distribution de-tangling with William Grant & Sons in March was followed by the launch of a new brand extension, Disaronno Velvet, in the country a month later. The privately-owned group also unveiled a cold brew coffee RTD for its Tia Maria brand in May.
