The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.57% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.79% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.33% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 47.37% in October 2022, registering a 5.26% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 31.58% share, an increase of 16.13% over the previous month.
3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 17.54%, registering a 53.85% rise from September 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 14.04% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Unibel posted 30 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 25% over the previous month, followed by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton with 19 jobs and a 90% growth. Groupe SEB with 6 IT jobs and Pernod Ricard with 5 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 28.57% decrease, respectively, while Christian Dior recorded a decline of 58.33% with 5 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, down by 2.56% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.81% share, registered an increase of 8.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 9.65% share, up 175% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.88%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
