By common consensus, this year’s en primeur campaign in Bordeaux was another lethargic one. Uninspiring in quality, high in price and short in volume, it helped neither buyers nor sellers – though it did, as en primeur always does, at least get people talking about the region’s wine for a couple of months every year.
