Out of the drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.49% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.05% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.03% in July 2022, registering a 17.57% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 21.26% share, an increase of 17.39% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.75%, registering a flat growth from June 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 10.24%, up 30% over the previous month.
Top five drinks companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 2.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s drinks industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
PepsiCo posted 54 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 1.82% over the previous month, followed by Coca-Cola Consolidated with 23 jobs and an 11.54% drop. Anheuser-Busch InBev with 10 IT jobs and Carlsberg with 8 jobs, recorded a 23.08% decline and a 14.29% growth, respectively, while Keurig Dr Pepper recorded an increase of 100% with 6 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.14%, up by 23.53% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.26% share, registered a decline of 6.9% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.6% share, down 60% over June 2022.
