By GlobalDataBeam Inc has brought back the Triple Wood expression of its Laphroaig Scotch whisky brand. The iteration, which was initially only available in the travel retail channel before being made available for the first time in the US in 2011, returns to the country this month.
Triple Wood will be available only in the US for a limited – albeit unspecified – time. Although 2011’s roll-out was limited to 13,500 bottles, a spokesperson for Beam declined to provide further details.
Last week, Beam announced a US$4.9m investment in increasing capacity of its Scotch operations.
