Food-and-bev veteran Chibe named Tropicana CEO  

Chibe, whose appointment takes effect immediately, succeeds Glen Walter, who will stay on as an adviser through the end of the year.

Tropicana Brands Group has named former Pabst Brewing Company chief executive Paul Chibe as its new CEO. 

Chibe, whose appointment takes effect immediately, succeeds Glen Walter, who will stay on as an adviser through to the end of the year. 

Walter oversaw the company’s $3.3bn separation from PepsiCo in 2021, when a majority of the juice and beverages business was sold to private-equity firm PAI Partners while PepsiCo retained a 39% stake. 

In addition to the namesake brand, Tropicana also markets its products under the Naked, KeVita, and Dole brands.  

Frédéric Stévenin, co-managing partner at PAI Partners and chairman of the board at Tropicana, said: “We are excited to welcome Paul as Tropicana’s new CEO and look forward to working with him to build the company’s next chapter of growth and value creation.  

“Paul’s experience driving growth through innovation, adapting to a dynamic consumer landscape and integrating complex operating environments will be impactful at Tropicana. We want to thank Glen for his leadership during Tropicana’s transition as a standalone company.” 

Chibe worked as CEO of Pabst Brewing Company from December 2021 to August 2025. 

Between July 2015 and August 2021, he was president and CEO of Ferrero North America. Prior to that, Chibe was US chief marketing officer at Anheuser-Busch InBev for nearly three years. 

His earlier career includes senior roles at Wrigley, such as VP–general manager US gum and mints and VP North American consumer marketing.
