Campari revealed plans to sell its Bellonnie et Bourdillon Successeurs business to an unnamed "French private-industry player" in July.
The agreement will also see L.A. Libations CEO and co-founder Danny Stepper join Axum's advisory board.
The proposed deal does not include ready-to-drink beverages in Norway.
Paul Verdu, MD at Asahi's US subsidiary, said the new line meant the business was "now localising supply across all core pack formats".
The dispute arose from a July directive issued by the FSSAI barring the sale of one whisky and one rum brand produced by the company.
