Coming up at this year’s Vinexpo exhibition in Bordeaux:
- Wine tasting of Medoc, Haut-Medoc and Listrac-Medoc appellations around the 2014 vintage and 2016 en primeurs will take place all day (from 1000) on 19 June in Room 1. The tasting features around 100 wines. Free admission.
- Internet and e-commerce giant Alibaba will present Big Data at the heart of the wine industry’s new opportunities in Room 6 on 19 June from 1230. The free event is hosted by Lei Zhao, general manager of Tmall Food, and Ada Xu-Fanouillere, international business development manager for Alibaba France.
- Also on 19 June, wine journalist Robert Joseph will present The potential for Spanish Wines on the export market at 1500 in the Forum. The conference will explore the potential for further Spanish export growth. Free admission, email pmarchais@vinexpo.com for further details.
