The convenience store chain, 7-Eleven, has said it is to introduce an own label range of beers and wines for the first time.

The company’s Santiago beer brand is to be made by the El Salvador brewer, Cerveceria La Constancia, in a joint venture with SABMiller. Wines are to be launched under the Regions brand, beginning with a Chardonnay and a Pinot Grigio.

While 7-Eleven has not marketed private label wines and beers before, it has had an own label bottled water, Classic Selection, for some time.
