V&S Group has signed an deal to sell a Danish yeast production facility to a Canadian company.
The company said today (29 October) that it plans to sell its yeast and molasses alcohol facility in Grenaa, Denmark, which employs 81 staff and last year reached SEK230m (US$36m), to the yeast producer and marketer Lallemand Inc.
V&S added that the sale was in line with its “strategy to focus on branded spirits”.
