The first batch of 10 Cape wine farm workers to benefit from overseas experience resulting from the South African Wine Industry Trust (SAWIT) programme depart for Dijon in Burgundy next month. The group will be spending four weeks at a government sponsored specialist wine school in Beaune, then getting practical experience assisting on wine farms during the harvest.
