Coffee is the dominant sector in the French hot drinks market but its value is declining. Tea, on the other hand, is becoming more popular. Despite impressive growth in the tea sector, which is set to reach $348 million in 2007, its small size means that it will not pose any short-term threat to the dominance of coffee.
