The Colombian diversified brewing conglomerate, Valores Bavaria, has announced that it has taken over Peru’s largest TV company, America Television, currently insolvent, in collaboration with two Peruvian newspapers.
Bavaria’s TV subsidiary, Caracol Television, has taken over America Television in partnership with the Peruvian newspapers, Empresa Editora El Comercio and Grupo la Republica.
The deal follows Bavaria’s acquisition of a 49.1% interest in Peru’s monopoly brewer, Backus.
