The Norwegian government is to sell the state’s 34% stake in Arcus-Gruppen, the wines and spirits importer, producer and distributor to Sucra, making Sucra the outright owner of the company.


Arcus-Gruppen is Norway’s largest wines and spirits business, employing around 500 people.


The deal was made for NOK210 (£17.85m)


Sucra is part owned by Berentzen-Gruppe AG.
