Fourth quarter net profit was down 24% to RM20.26 million from RM26.92 million with turnover slipping by 14% to RM192.73 million. The company said the slump in the fourth quarter was due to adverse economic conditions which had affected consumption of beer and stout, warning that the prevailing economic conditions would continue into the new financial year.
