Diageo has expanded the US presence of the RTD variant of the Botanicals extension of vodka brand Ketel One.
Six months after a “limited launch” in the country, Ketel One Botanical Vodka Spritz is now available in 20 states, up from the initial nine. The three-strong line, comprising Peach & Orange Blossom, Cucumber & Mint and Grapefruit & Rose, contains zero carbs has an abv of 3.6%.
The RTD debuted in the US just over two years after Diageo released Botanicals, a flavoured, lower abv version of Ketel One.
“We created this cocktail experience to appeal to the mindful consumer, just as we did with Ketel One Botanical, now with the added convenience of a can,” said distiller Carl Nolet.
Diageo runs Ketel One through a joint-venture with brand owner the Nolet family.
Earlier this week, US start-up Green Cures & Botanical Distribution announced details of botanical-infused addition to the portfolio of its Hollywood vodka brand.
