Reports in the Indian press suggest that PepsiCo is about to launch an iced tea brand in India. There is speculation that the company might enter the iced tea segment via its recent tie-up with Unilever subsidiary, Hindustan Lever, announced earlier this month.
However, chairman of PepsiCo India, Rajeev Bakshi, is also reported to be considering the idea of PepsiCo launching its own brand of iced tea in India.
