The chairman of the Munich brewery, Paulaner, Axel Meermann, has been sacked, according to reports in the German press. Meermann’s departure was reportedly precipitated by a row with Heineken which owns just under half of Bayerische Brau Holding which in turn owns Paulaner. Heineken has not commented on the reports.
