A company seeking to put cash dispensers in Irish pubs has rejected
claims that it could lead to excessive drinking. The move “was not an
attempt to exploit drinkers” said Mark Roden, managing director of
Easycash Ltd.
The firm said its main objective was to offer a sheltered location for people to withdraw money.
