Blake’s Hard Cider is targeting the US holidays with a seasonal release from its namesake brand.

Blake’s Berry Cranders, which launches next week, is the debut variant in the Michigan-based ‘Limited Series’. The 6.9% abv hard cider is flavoured with cranberry and ginger armada and has been positioned as a spiced winter offering for consumers.

Berry Cranders will be available in 12oz (35.5cl) can six-packs in the run-up to Christmas across Blake’s Hard Cider’s 19-state footprint in the US.

“2020 has certainly been a memorable year and 2021 will mark 75 years my family has been in the farm and apple business,” said Blake’s founder & owner Andrew Blake. “This year … we had a special focus on creating a hard cider that would capture the flavours of the holidays and being together.”

Earlier this year, the privately-owned company, which moved into cider production seven years ago, added a further three variants to its lower-calorie range.
