Bacardi’s Grey Goose vodka brand is rolling out its Essences extension in the UK, following a “successful launch” in the US market last year. Set for an April release, Grey Goose Essences is priced at an SRP of GBP39 (US$51.50) per 70cl bottle and will be available through Waitrose, Tesco and Majestic Wine Costco stores across the country. The range has an abv of 30% and comprises three expressions; Watermelon & Basil, Strawberry & Lemongrass and Peach & Rosemary. The group is also planning to release the debut RTD from Grey Goose in June. The extension will be available in 25cl cans at a strength of 4.5% abv. The flavours for the RTDs will be based on Grey Goose’s Essences range. “Spritzes and drinks featuring botanicals have been growing trends, with consumers increasingly trying their hand at mixology,” said Grey Goose VP of global marketing, Martin de Dreuille. “We knew there was an exciting opportunity to create a distinctive drink using real fruit essences that would take the guesswork out of mixing light tasting ... cocktails at home.” Last year, Bacardi signed a deal with the organisers of the Grammys, which saw Grey Goose secure “official vodka” staus for the music awards. The “multi-year” deal kicked off in January. !function(){"use strict";window.addEventListener("message",(function(e){if(void 0!==e.data["datawrapper-height"]){var t=document.querySelectorAll("iframe");for(var a in e.data["datawrapper-height"])for(var r=0;r
