UK-based company The Body Shop International’s IT hiring rose 2.5% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 2.17% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 18.52% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.98% decline over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Body Shop International, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 91.8% in July 2022, and a 9.8% rise over June 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 4.92% in July 2022, and registered flat growth. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 1.64% in July 2022, a flat growth from June 2022.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 68.85% share, which marked a 44.83% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 29.51%, registering a 5.26% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 1.64% share and a flat growth over June 2022.
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 65.57% share in July 2022, a 42.86% growth over June 2022. Canada featured next with a 16.39% share, up 25% over the previous month. US recorded a 13.11% share, a decline of 27.27% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead The Body Shop International IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 90.16%, up by 25% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 6.56% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 3.28% share, up 100% over June 2022.
