Poland’s consumer industry registered a 2.9% drop in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 3.28% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.01% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.41% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 40.48% in July 2022, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 33.33% share, a decrease of 36.36% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 16.67%, registering a 30% decline from June 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 9.52%, down 33.33% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 42.11% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Reckitt Benckiser Group posted 11 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 37.5% over the previous month, followed by Philip Morris International with 6 jobs and a 500% growth. Carlsberg with 4 IT jobs and Kimberly-Clark with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a 200% growth, respectively, while IOI Corp recorded an increase of 200% with 3 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.52%, down by 35.9% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.43% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 19.05% share, down 11.11% over June 2022.
