Switzerland-based company Nestle’s IT hiring rose 5.9% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 7.08% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.79% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.08% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in September 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 31.82% in September 2022, and a 17.65% drop over August 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 23.86% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 8.7%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 23.86% in September 2022, a 5% rise from August 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Nestle

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 52.27% share, which marked a 27.78% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 32.95%, registering a 40.82% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 12.5% share and an 8.33% drop over August 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.27% and a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 26.14% share in September 2022, a 25.81% decline over August 2022. Germany featured next with a 23.86% share, up 162.5% over the previous month. France recorded a 7.95% share, an increase of 75% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.18%, down by 6.25% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.45% share, a decline of 10% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.36% share, down 44.44% over August 2022.
