The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.75% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

Out of the drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.45% share in September 2022, recording a decrease of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.63% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s drinks industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV posted 15 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a drop of 31.82% over the previous month, followed by The Coca-Cola with 9 jobs and an 800% growth. Anheuser-Busch InBev with 7 IT jobs and PepsiCo with 3 jobs, recorded a 36.36% decline and a 57.14% decrease, respectively, while Embotelladoras Arca, S.A.B. de recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during September 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.71%, down by 47.73% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.86% share, registered an increase of 14.29% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.43% share, down 33.33% over August 2022.
