The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.83% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.69% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.16% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Italy’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy’s consumer industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 42.11% in November 2022, registering a 166.67% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 26.32% share, an increase of 66.67% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 15.79%, registering a 50% rise from October 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 10.53%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Italy’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 180% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy’s consumer industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
EssilorLuxottica posted 4 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 3 jobs and a flat growth. De’Longhi with 3 IT jobs and AGC with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Moncler recorded a decline of 33.33% with 2 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.42%, up by 44.44% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 26.32% share, registered an increase of 150% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.26% share, flat growth over October 2022.
