The acquisition is Beston’s first in the area and also marks its first lease agreement with Southcorp. Beston has more than 2,800 acres under vine and in excess of A$80m in assets under management including vineyards and grape processing and storage facilities.
AUSTRALIA: Beston acquires Sirens River Vineyard
The Beston Wine Industry Trust has acquired Sirens Vineyard in the Margaret River region of Western Australia for A$1.88m (US$1.025m). The vineyard is to be leased to Australia's largest wine company, Southcorp Ltd, for 10 years with options for two further five-year terms.
