The brewery’s director, Karel Witz, attributed the growth to a rising proportion of lager sales. In the first half of 2002, lager sales increased by 5% and accounted for 70% of the company’s total output.
CZECH REPUBLIC: Mestansky reports 10% sales boost in first half
Czech brewer, Mestansky Pivovar, has posted sales for the first half of 2002 of CZK34m, up 10% on 2001. The company also reported an 8% rise in beer output in the first six months of 2002 to 34,500 hls.
